EXTERIOR
The Mulsanne Speed offers a sporting take on luxury. Its rifled stainless steel tailpipes, unique 21” wheels, dark tint brightware and ‘Speed’ fender badges all add to its powerful road presence.
A series of assertive styling features enhance the Mulsanne Speed’s sporting intent. A dark tint finish is applied to the exterior brightware, including matrix grilles, bumper, radiator grille and wing vent. ‘B’ wing vents add to the clean look. The dark tint extends to both front and rear lights. 21” Speed alloy wheels, with a dark-tint option, are Bentley's first-ever directional style wheel and have the same visual direction of rotation on either side of the car.
INTERIOR
In addition to the interior updates across the Mulsanne range, the Mulsanne Speed also benefits from features that further highlight its sporting abilities. These include diamond-quilted seats and door pads, knurled gear lever and drilled alloy sports pedals. A striking sports interior colour split with Speed stitch line and perforated hide also ensure the powerful and exquisite Speed remains unique.
DYNAMIC YET REFINED
The new Mulsanne Speed is much more than just a powerhouse, it is a car for those who prefer to take the wheel themselves. Its 6¾ litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine generates 530 bhp / 395 kW / 537 PS) at 4,000 rpm and 1,100 Nm (811 lb.ft) of torque. The highest torque of any four-door luxury car, Speed delivers 5% more brake horsepower and 8% more torque than its Mulsanne sibling.
Mulsanne Speed combines outstanding driving dynamics with supreme refinement. It accelerates effortlessly from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds (0‑100 km/h in 4.9 seconds) and reaches a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h). Cutting-edge engine technology delivers competitive emissions for a car of this size (C02 of 342g/km) and (18.8mpg) fuel consumption figures.
PERFECT BALANCE
The Mulsanne Speed offers four driver-selectable suspension settings, which combined with computer monitoring 50 times per second, ensure the perfect balance of ride and handling performance in any conditions. The driver-focused Sport suspension setting makes the most of the Speed’s formidable power and acceleration. It stiffens the air suspension for improved body control and high-speed grip. It also adjusts the steering dynamics for a more sporting and engaging feel. The Bentley setting gives the optimum balance between comfort and performance. The Comfort setting provides the most refined and comfortable on-road drive imaginable. Whereas the Custom setting enables the driver to configure their own personal engine and chassis settings.
